Groom’s cakes are traditionally used as a way for the groom to express his personality at the wedding reception. However, they’re being used in different ways more and more. For example, some couples choose to let the groom have his spotlight at the rehearsal dinner where the groom’s cake is the only one served. And other brides love to surprise their groom with a cake suited to his personality. While the groom’s cake is always smaller than the wedding cake, it is a great way for the bride to show how much she loves her man.
