It’s not every day that you get asked to do a 3-D carved character cake. And what could be better than doing one of the most adorable characters ever made!? Eeyore! 
A good friend of mine asked me to make this cake for her Mom’s birthday. Her Mom loves, loves, loves Eeyore so I knew this cake had to be special! No Eeyore-themed tiered cake would do. This one had to be an hand-carved, 3-D rendering of Eeyore himself.
As I was making the cake, I knew they would like it. But it wasn’t until I added his droopy, puppy dog eyes that I knew they would be thrilled! Eeyore is all about the eyes!
The party was a huge success and everyone loved the cake. And check out what they did for the guest book. How cute is that?!
