Earlier in the month, Rebecca asked us to create a sparkly cake for her daughters’ birthday party. The theme would be enchanted forest fairies and the colors were pink and purple. So, with Rebecca’s help, we designed this cake:
We topped it with a spray of ruffled polka dots that read “H-A-P-P-Y B-I-R-T-H-D-A-Y” and a couple of elegant daisies.
The sides of the cake were adorned with edible numbers and name banners for the birthday girls, Reese & Hadley. And the entire cake was very, very sparkly!
Check out that sparkle! Every little girl’s dream!
Rebecca also needed some cupcakes for Reese to share with her class at school. Two of Reese’s favorite things right now are the color purple and rainbow sprinkles. And, so, these cupcakes were created:
And, as party favors, we created yellow and green glittery sugar cookies. The girls at the party received the yellow ones, which were mounted on lollipop sticks and looked like fairy wands. The boys received the green sparkly ones without the sticks (because we all know the boys would use them as weapons instead of magical wands).
Happy Birthday, Reese & Hadley!
